My name is Duane McCutcheon. I am a Master CREIA Inspector (MCI) and New Construction Specialist (CNCS) member of the California Real Estate Inspection Association with over 30 years of experience.

I continually strive to better myself by attending seminars and workshops from experts in the building trades each year. I have hands on experience in construction, certifications of proficieniency in the state building codes, I'm trained in the latest green building methodology and performance testing and enclude energy conservation deficiencies at the homes I inspect. I have confidence in my ability to recognize a wide variety of defects and safety concerns and clearly explain my findings in a meaningful way at properties I inspect.

My home inspection service is an interactive onsite property condition consultation. I inspect the property and discuss my findings and other items of interest with you at the property. I encourage you to ask questions so you may better understand the home and its condition. I give you my honest and unbiased opinion to help you understand the home and its conditions. You get a concise, easy to read home inspection report with photos that clearly states the material defects found.

My home inspection service is unique; I do one home inspection per day so I won't be pressed for time. An average size home usually takes around three or four hours to inspect. But if you have lots of questions or it's an older, larger or neglected building or has more features and systems, it will take longer. For larger properties I may bring a trusted colleague or specialty inspectors to reduce site time or provide specialty inspections. I invite and encourage my clients to attend the inspection to get the full benefit of my service.
